Direct Support Professional

We are the best home care service provider:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will have a range of responsibilities to ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants. One of your duties will be completing and maintaining paperwork according to Coordinated Services of Idaho policy and procedures using Mobile App.
In addition, you will need to be prepared to manage and prevent crises that may arise, while actively engaging participants through positive reinforcement and supervision. You will also assist with daily living responsibilities, such as cooking, medication management, and maintaining a clean living environment.
Part of your role will be supporting participants with grocery shopping and healthcare appointments, and participating in community activities such as library, dances, shopping, special needs events, Concerts, hey some of our staff have taking participants to Mariner games. It is important to ensure that personal care routines and daily household duties are complete, and that you foster a positive living environment that encourages independent living skills.
Ultimately, one of the most important aspects of your role as a Direct Support Professional is to have fun! By providing support and encouragement, you can help participants live fulfilling and happy lives, while also building meaningful relationships with them every day.

We are not 24/7 with overnight staff. We are non-medical and only want those who wish to service this community with us.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation and valid insurance
  • Ability to pass a federal background check
  • Ability to come to work and be Happy!
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision
